My deepest sympathy goes out to Thelma and family. I will always remember what a great and dear friend Roy was, and all of the times Squirt and I had fishing, camping, playing pool, and just sitting at the Legion enjoying a cold beer. with you and Roy. You will always be in my memories. Rest in Peace my very dear friend. May the good Lord watch over the family and help Thelma through this time of sorrow.

Roy Speck was a gentleman and family member that I will always remember. When I was in 5th grade, Roy would take me fishing at Dick O’Day ranch East of G.F’s. There was this pond/lake that wasn’t too big, but “full of big fish”! My attention span was the length of a typical 5th grader and after a few hours of “family talk” FISH ON!!! Big old brown trout with a hooked jaw…..a memory fresh in my mind to this day!
I pray that Thelma and family will have lots of love and strength to come together during this difficult time. You’ll all have my prayers and condolences.
Roy……”FISH ON”….my friend!!!!!

Roy was a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. Mike, me and my other friends drove the poor guy crazy when we were teen agers as we did all our parents. I was hoping to see Roy at least one more time in my travels through Montana. I think Roy had a great life, I loved hearing his stories and he really had a lot of guts. Well Roy, I hope you and Mike are together somewhere laughing it up and having fun! Thelma and Vikki I hope you can be strong and get through this sad time.
Love and Regards,
Robert VanLuchene.
