Ryley James Wilson was born May 9, 2011. His light went out October 26, 2023 at the age of 12 years, while surrounded by his loving nurse and a very intimate family gathering. His passing was due to 12 years of his body fighting the linger effects of brain trauma due to strep pneumo bacterial meningitis at 3 months old.
Ryley James was the toughest human his family ever had the pleasure of loving. He was elated being in water and playing on sandy beaches. He was exceptionally specific about his cartoons and had his humans trained to use the remote to his best advantage. He endured more than anyone ever should to try to stay on this earth.
Ryley had great grandparents awaiting his arrival on the other side. He is outlived on earth by his mother Sabrina (Monro) Mergenthaler with Robert Mergenthaler, William (Bill) Wilson, Emma Wilson, Dominick Wilson, Myles Mergenthaler and twins Sadie and Dawson Mergenthaler, along with his uncles Jonathan Monro and Robert (Robbie) Konigsfeld and grandparents Bill and Frances Monro, Rosann and Mike Grandy along with Robert Konigsfeld Sr.
No funeral services to be held. His ashes will be spread in the ocean by his family within the next few months as our son will never have his movement restricted again.
