On a beautiful Montana morning August 14, Shane Michael Goss “Ducky”, drifted away to start a new adventure.
Born December 25, 1978, Shane was the son of Donna (Tim) Hagman and Michael (Vicki) Crocker. Shane came into a fast-passed life with a laid-back attitude. He was inquisitive, yet a little wary at all times. One of five boys, he grew up in the Helena valley and attended local schools. His smile was infectious and shared often. For Ducky, a joke and a laugh would linger. He enjoyed being happy and would sit back and quietly take it all in.
Among his passions . . . Mountain Time – hunting, fishing, or a game of horseshoes with a group of friends. His artistic ability came naturally, and it is comforting to know that his tattoos, paintings and drawings will live on as a testament to his time on earth.
Shane is survived by his parents Donna and Tim Hagman and Michael and Vicki Crocker; brothers Chad, Matt, Mike, Austin, Jason – sister Lindy and their families and his many friends. Burial will take place on Monday, August 19th at 1:00 PM at the Forestvale Cemetery. Please join us to say good-bye and celebrate his life on Saturday, August 31 at 1:00 PM in the Compass Block at 863 Great Northern Boulevard (next to the Carousel). A Gofundme account has been set up to help with burial costs. If interested, please go to www.gofundme.com and search for the Goss-Hagman fundraiser.

I loved you every minute we had together, good times and bad. I had you at the best of times. You became a warrior fighting your own wars. May the battles you fought so fiercely here on Earth be celebrated in Valhalla. I know you will soar with eagles and dine with Kings. Your demons won’t follow you there. A candle will forever be lit in my soul for you and I will remember you always. I love you until the end of time. Until we meet again….
