Sharon Kay Shanholtzer
November 18, 1940 – November 13, 2019
Born to Francis Edward and Marjorie (Haas) Scanlan in Bozeman, Mont. She grew up in the lower Madison Valley. She helped her dad move sheep from there to Ringling every year. Her family later moved to Three Forks where she graduated from high school. She met and married Bob Shanholtzer. Together they raised two daughters. Sharon did many things in her live, from herding sheep to running a motel. She and Bob celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary October 13, 2019.
She is survived by her husband Bob and daughters Barb (Burt) Allinson and Bev (Marvin) Blokzyl, one sister, brother and sister-in-law. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers please feel free to make donations to the charity of your choice. A celebration of life will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Last Chance Chapel on Raven Road. Reception to immediately follow the service.
