Sharon was born on May 31, 1943 in Denton Montana to Eddie and Judith Neill. She was taken from us on October 27, 2017 due to an extended illness.
Her life started in Judith Basin County, attending grade school in Windham Montana and graduating from Stanford High School in 1961.
She lived in many different towns embracing many different professions until she found her heart and home in Helena Montana.
Sharon said her greatest achievement were her two children, Beaver and Cheri whom she loved dearly. They returned her love by giving her three grandchildren.
Her grandkids were the highlight of her life. She rarely missed any of their activities or events. She enjoyed taking them on adventures, playing games and spoiling them, always saying “A Grandmas got to do what a Grandmas got to do!”
Besides her own grandchildren, any child close to her became her grandchild with the same love.
The best 24 years of her life started when she met her soul mate and true love Buzz Short. The years were filled with adventures, laughter, good friends and much love.
Sharon always was the life of the party and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband Buzz Short, son Shawn (Beav) Samson, Daughter Cheri Tonne (Mark), Step-daughter Stacy Short (Reece Gannon), Grandchildren Sydney Schauland, Tyler Bragg, Zachery Bragg and Gracie Gannon. Brothers John Neill (Marsha), Bruce Neill (Rita) , Sister Judy Neill.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eddie and Judith Neill.
A celebration of life will be held November 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm At the Helena Valley Community Center 3553 Tizer Rd, Helena MT

I’ve been good friend’s with Beav for at least 12 years now, and every time I got to see Sharon when she’d come to town my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. What a special lady, so much fun, she just exuded happiness. I was so blessed to know her and she’ll be deeply missed.
