Stewart Baker, Jr., 76 of Lincoln passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena on May 10, 2015, on Mother’s Day. He was born on July 30, 1938 in Big Timber. Stewart was active in the Livingston Jaycees, Deer Lodge Moose Lodge #533, Helmville Rodeo Club and was instrumental in helping organize the Race Track Junior Rodeo Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Stewart worked on various ranches around the state. When he retired he worked as a flagger and pilot car driver on road construction._x000D_

He is survived by his wife of 59 1/2 years, Edith (EDE) of Lincoln; three daughters Cheryl (Jim) Brenton of East Helena, Tina (Todd) Hoover, Ronan, Carol Baker of Marceline, MO and son William “Bill” (Kristi) of Helmville; eleven grandchildren and their spouses and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a half brother Jack D’Ewart of Martinsdale, half sister Pat Garner of Huntsville, TX and half sister Sylvania Barnhart of Livingston; two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends._x000D_

He was preceded in death by his parents Stuart Baker and Mary D’ Ewart, sister Mary Holst, his mother and father-in-law; sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
