Thomas William Robbins

Tom won his courageous battle with cancer by going home to our heavenly father on May 22nd 2012. He is survived by his six children and 19 grandchildren; Ricky (Laurie) Kyle & Raenita Robbins; Marty (Juanita) Jesse & Taylar Robbins; Melanie (Jim), Heather (Alex), Hanna & Emily Hultin; Paul (Kristy), Katelyn, Seth & Klara Robbins, Kari, Zac & Chais Danbrook; Jane (Alan), Austin, Alec, Aaron, Anden, Aric & AJ, Abercrombie. His brothers Jerry (Marion) Robbins; Ron (Sharon) Robbins; Bob (Lorna) Robbins; and Dan (Kay) Robbins; his sister Sue Wruck and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents James & Velda brothers Jim & John and grandson Brandon Robbins. Tom was a great dad, grandpa & brother. He served in the Army and Minnesota National Guard. He continued to follow his passion of service with the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department and served many years as a deputy sheriff for Lewis & Clark County in Helena. He was a very friendly guy and loved by everyone who knew him. He often talked about the family farm in Paynesville MN and that’s where his love of tractors started. He loved fishing, camping, spending time with his family outdoors and what brought him to Montana in the first place—the Montana mountains. He spent the last couple of years surrounded by some amazing angels. Thank you to the staff of the Cancer Treatment Center and the nurses on the oncology floor. Your kindness and heartfelt care of our beloved dad means more than you will ever know.

Services will be held on June 2, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at Twichel Funeral & Cremation Service, 314 N. Rodney Street, Helena. Memorials could be made in Tom’s name to the Cancer Treatment Center, St. Peters Hospital, 2475 Broadway, Helena MT 59601
