William F. Gleed (Bill) passed away on May 30, 2022, surrounded by his family. Per his wishes, there were no services held, but Bill wouldn’t think of depriving his family of having a party.
Many of you will remember Bill as the bartender at O’Tooles for over 20 years or shooting pool and learning how to pull off bank shots.
Leave your sadness at the door and join us as we celebrate Bill’s life. We will get together to share some memories and favorite stories and remember the wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend who is greatly missed.
The celebration of life for Bill will be held on July 23, 2022, at 2pm at the VFW in East Helena. It will be a potluck. The family will be providing meat & cheese trays, rolls & condiments. Please bring all the memories you can and whatever stories that are repeatable.

So sorry to hear about Bill’s passing. We went to grade School as well as Jr and Sr High together. Many memories from our grade school days, Bill taught me how to shine shoes when we were in the First Grade at Central School. He and I would troll the Saloons on Main St and shine shoes for spending money. Although we went separate ways after our time in school together we never forgot our early childhood days, we would reminisce about those days when he worked at O’Tools .
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends, Bill was a fine person and will be missed by many

Carol and Family, Sorry to hear about your loss of Bill. I often think about those of us that were in Outdoor Ed together, of course, Bill always comes to mind. Probably best not to mention some of the grief we caused Mr. Beaver. Hopefully remembering the good times helps you thru these difficult times. Scott
