Bill and I knew each other in our high school years.With a shared interest in vintage firearms, we roamed the hills outside of Helena just to the south of our parents’
homes on Highland. Gun shows, shooting matches, fishing and hunting filled many days.
Bill was a true expert on many aspects of the history of the US and Montana. As a consummate gentleman, he was respectful of all with whom he came in contact in his many interests.
