He grew up in Landing, New Jersey and graduated from Roxbury High School. He also lived on Fire Island and spent time in Illinois with his family, lived in Aspen, Colorado and Los Angeles, California. Bill is preceded in death by his father John Joseph Zywot and his mother, Nancy Dixon Zywot. He leaves behind his brothers Andy Zywot and Tom Zywot and three sisters: Nancy Gentry, Maryann Zywot, Elizabeth Brown and Victoria Snyder as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews, and many friends.
Those who knew Bill would say he didn’t look his age and some would say he didn’t act his age. He consistently kept fitness and body building in his life. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.

Billy, Godspeed and I know you will shake things up in heaven when you get there! I feel so grateful that I knew you. I’ll remember the great conversations and laughs we had a the Helena College Library. You were always learning and questioning and you never took yourself very seriously but cared deeply for the world and your friends.
My deepest condolences to Billy’s family. I am also a Queens girl and know that the miles from family are often hard. I’ll miss him.

I am sorry for your family’s loss. Billy loved and spoke highly of his family. He always saw the good in others even while seeking to improve himself. I saw him develop confidence i over the years and was delighted to hear and see his accomplishments. I enjoyed running in to him in the community to experience a moment of his positive energy. I will miss Billy and glad to know he is with his heavenly father. – Kim Haughee
