Gwen Marie Anderson, June 26th, 1949 Helena MT passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 22, 2023. Gwen was born in Nampa ID to Jackie and Chuck Rockne whom preceded her in death.
Gwen is survived by her husband H. Howard (Howie) Anderson, her daughter Tami/Fred Pippin, sons, Patrick/Lisa Lane, Matt/Kris Lane, eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Gwen spent her childhood in Willow Creek MT and was a proud graduate of Willow Creek High School, home of the Blue Ponies. She moved with her children in 1978 to Helena where she met the love of her life and spent the rest of her days at the Anderson Family Ranch.
Gwen will be remembered for her love of animals, gardening, crafting and a life of ranch work.
Her memorial will be held at noon on June 17th, 2023, at the Silver City Cemetery followed by a celebration of life at the Anderson Ranch homestead.
Memorials can be sent to the Lewis and Clark County Humane Society in Gwen’s name.

How does someone put into words how much we will miss you Gwen. ? I heard this quote a while ago and it fits perfectly here:
“THE BUSINESS OF LIFE, IS THE ACQUISITION OF MEMORIES”
My memories of you are of a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, you were a mentor to me in that, your kindness, your caring, your love, made me a better person.and i will always cherish those memories, and like Howie always says , “BYE FOR NOW”.
